Bio

Francesca Gazani, a 5’4 libero, comes to Gillette out of Skyridge High School in Lehi, Utah. Gazani is an impressive student-athlete who has garnered accolades on and off the court throughout her high school career. The former Falcon not only lettered in volleyball four times, but also received a multitude of athletics honors such as Deseret News All State Honorable Mention, 5A First Team, and 5A MVP. Gazani helped lead the Skyridge team to 3rd place in the state and 2nd place in the region during the 2022 season! Francesca is not only accomplished on the court, but also in the classroom. Throughout high school, Francesca was an honor roll student, named Student of the Term, and received Academic All American Honors. During her time at Gillette College, Francesca will be working towards her goal of a career in Sports Medicine. When asked “Why did you choose Gillette College?” Gazani responded “I chose Gillette College because of the community around there. Everyone seems really nice, supportive, and welcoming. It is also not that far from home. One of the other main reasons I chose Gillette College is the volleyball program. I can't wait to be part of it!”
