MADDYN WALKER SHINES IN HISTORIC PERFORMANCE FOR GILLETTE COLLEGE SOCCER

Maddyn Walker, a standout player for Gillette College soccer, made history last Saturday, August 31, with an incredible performance against Central Wyoming College. Walker's astonishing six goals on just eight shots and two assists solidified a remarkable victory for the Gillette College team, the first of the season, and inspired a new level of pride and determination among her teammates. The 6-goal performance by Walker is the most goals scored in a single game in Pronghorn Women’s Soccer history.

Walker got the Pronghorns on the scoreboard with a blistering shot outside of the 18-yard box in the 18th minute of the game. Maddyn then added her second in the 40th minute.

After halftime, Walker continued her hot streak and secured the hat-trick in the 60th minute of the game. Not done for the day, Maddyn then secured the double hat-trick with goals in the 65th, 69th, and 89th minute.

The victory not only highlighted Walker’s incredible individual performance but also showcased the strength of the Gillette College Pronghorns as a team. With this win, the Pronghorns continue to build momentum as they advance through the season, with high hopes of a strong start as they head into regional play on Friday against Trinidad State College.
