Addysyn Bayne Signs Letter of Intent with Pronghorns
Gillette, WY— Addysyn Bayne, a standout student-athlete from Columbia High School, has officially signed her letter of intent to join the Gillette College Women's Basketball team. Standing tall at 6'2", Bayne leaves behind an impressive legacy as she transitions to collegiate athletics, having averaged a double-double in points and rebounds throughout her sophomore, junior, and senior years.
With a stellar career that includes an average of 18.3 points per game, 11.2 rebounds per game, 4 blocks per game, and 2 assists per game, Addysyn earned multiple accolades, including 1st Team All-Conference honors during her sophomore and junior years and was named Player of the Year in her senior year. Her contributions on the court also earned her a spot as Second Team All-State during her sophomore year. Besides her basketball prowess, Addysyn was active in track and excelled academically, achieving a remarkable 4.2 GPA, earning her place in the National Honor Society.
Addysyn plans to major in Business at Gillette College, where she is eager to further her education while pursuing her passion for basketball. When asked why she chose Gillette College, she shared, "I chose Gillette because the moment I flew into town, it felt like another home. My feeling was completely backed up by the coaches and players that I met. Gillette offers a home where I know I will be pushed to my limits but will also exceed my own expectations in improvement. I can't wait to hustle and play for the team I get to call family this coming season!"
