GILLETTE, WY, April 23, 2024 – Gillette College women's basketball coach Liz Lewis is pleased to announce the signing of 5'6" Kinsey Plewe for the 2023-24 season. Kinsey grew up in Washington, UT and played all four years for Crimson Cliffs High School. Plewe participated in track and soccer while also being a member of her high school Honor Roll.  

During her senior season, Kinsey played for Cassie Hahl and averaged 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game.

"Kinsey is the type of athlete we are building our program around. Her toughness and determination are qualities that we emphasize and value. As a player, Kinsey sees the floor well and can knock down open, in- rhythm shots. She is a great teammate and motivator. We are looking forward to seeing her in a Pronghorn uniform this season," stated Coach Lewis.

Plewe plans to study Elementary Education while attending Gillette College and will pursue a career as an elementary teacher.

Kinsey on Gillette College: "I chose Gillette College because I know that it will push me to become a better athlete but also a better student. It is a place I can stay focused and accomplish my goals for my future."
