GILLETTE, WY - Gillette College Rodeo is happy to announce Watford City, ND cowboy Tel Sorenson. Sorenson is a freshman who competes in the team roping and calf roping.  

Son of Jarvis and Kadie Sorenson, Tel is a 2x North Dakota State Champion team roper, as well as a 4x NHSFR qualifier in the team roping and the calf roping.

Coach Laduke is quoted saying, "Tel Sorenson is a great addition to our timed event roster. Having both him and his partner [Trevor Sorge] attending Gillette College is a great opportunity for this program. He's an all around hand and we're excited to see him flourish here!"

Sorenson will major in Agriculture Business while at Gillette College.

Sorenson states, "I chose Gillette College because I want to pursue my roping skills.  The practice facility is awesome and I look forward to get to continue training my horses."
