Gillette College Pronghorns Welcomes Dynamic New Addition

Gillette, WY -May 19, 2025— Gillette College is excited to announce the signing of standout athlete Lina Ballin to the women's basketball program. A dedicated student-athlete with a passion for sports management, Lina brings impressive skills and a winning mentality to the Pronghorns.

Standing at 5'4", Lina has demonstrated her exceptional talent on the court with career averages of 10 points per game, along with 3.6 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.8 steals. Her numerous athletic honors include three consecutive All Valley First Team selections (2022-2024), multiple All State Second Team recognitions, and her selection as the Top 50 Elite Player of the Game in Utah (2024). She has also contributed to her team's success as part of the Region Championship squads in 2022, 2023, and 2024, and has earned accolades such as First Team All-Region (2023-2024) and the Varsity Athletic Award (2021-2025).

Lina chose Gillette College because she appreciates the program's commitment to excellence. "They're a really good program, that likes to push their girls to become the best they can. This program has a very competitive team, and they are there to help you grow and succeed," she said.
