Coach Will Laduke grew up in Dickinson, North Dakota where he attended Dickinson State University initially, then North Dakota State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Applied Science in 1999. With deep roots in the rodeo community, Will started competing at a young age and advanced into the professional rodeo ranks. He is a multiple-time Badlands Circuit qualifier in calf roping and qualified for the Dodge National Circuit Finals four times.
Since the inception of the rodeo program at Gillette College in 2007, Will has been a dedicated coach, leading the team to numerous individual regional and national championships. Notably, in 2010, his women's team claimed a national championship, establishing an early tradition of excellence within the program.
Will and his family ranch south of Gillette, where he and his wife, Ginger Edwards Laduke, raise their two children, Tel and Lila. He remains active in the rodeo scene, occasionally competing, supporting his family on the rodeo trail, all while coaching the next generation of student-athletes.
